I cannot believe that today is our last day as just "Monte & Carmen." What an awesome husband I have! In some ways I'm sad to share him, but in other ways I can't wait to see how great of a dad he will be!!!!
This morning, we attended Beijing International Christian Fellowship, which is only for foreigners. Everyone entering must show their passport in order to be allowed admittance. It was very similar to services in the US, but with a multinational congregation. It was a blessing to be there & gave me a new perspective on prayer for this nation as well as the US. As we are learning so much about the culture and especially after the service today, I'm beginning to feel "connected" with China. This is a wonderful thing because as of tomorrow, we'll be forever connected with this nation!!
In the afternoon we went to Tienanmen Square and the Forbidden City & had "Peking Duck" for dinner. We enjoyed the sights, but I am ready to go meet our son!
Tomorrow am we get our wake up call at 4am, then we will fly south to Guangzhou for the biggest day of all.....GOTCHA DAY!!!!!!
